Consider yourself warned: Another hanging coming up

Consider yourself warned: Another hanging coming up
----------------------------------------------
Half-awake and bleary-eyed I scanned the newspaper headlines this morning. “Death sentence for Yakub confirmed” it declared. That jolted me like an intravenous caffeine shot and I woke up thinking “Oh EFF!!”

I had no idea who he was but from reading the name I know that this will be a long-drawn painful issue that will have various media entities grinding the same story over and over again, to offer no new insight. Then suddenly, just before some major political issue we’ll learn that Yakub was executed the previous night in top secrecy in some random city. Then more stories will emerge about how his wife didn’t receive his letter and his mother made biryani that no one ate, etc. The Arundhati Roys of the world and capital punishment haters will all scream themselves hoarser than the last time they screamed themselves hoarse.

This will be followed by LeT and a bunch of other perpetually angry freaks yelling even more and declaring that India “will pay for this.” Like we don’t already. But it seems to comfort them to believe that they’re actually threatening India, so they will. Who do they think WE are, the USA? That the government will actually spend trillions of US$ in systems to protect the people, complicate air travel, detain international suspects illegally, sustain two wars and use the NSG (National Security Guard) to assassinate people we don't like? Ha! Idiots.

After this, the government will helpfully “warn” all cities to expect “some attack, somewhere, by someone.” Based on this supremely specific "intelligence", all state government representatives will quickly retract like leathery turtles and sit safely holed up in their high security homes and play teen patti.

Then we’ll hear that there’s been a bomb blast in Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Delhi, Calcutta, Hyderabad…not all of them together but there seems to be some sort of algorithm which decides which sorry ass city is next where citizens buying tomatoes in a market will die while the government sits around and lets that happen. Anything between 1 and 999 people could die and all of that depends on a complex karma equation. But does it really matter how many of us die, there are plenty more Indians where we came from ...right?

Since most of the rest of us have schools, responsibilities and jobs to go to, we’ll first check to make sure everyone we know is fine in the most recently bombed city, and then quickly write a piece on Facebook or Twitter that more than adequately expresses our anger at the system and the futility of it all. Then, we'll go about doing our jobs in the best way we can.

Some folks will yell at us for writing updates about an issue rather than joining politics and fixing it. Because you know, politicians fix everything.

Rinse. Repeat.

It’s all become so predictable now that anyone can be Nostradamus.

(Yakub, incidentally, is Tiger Memon’s brother.)

illusion

Open your eyes. Your world is an illusion. From the day you were born, you have been conditioned. Your schools taught you to be quiet, neutral and numb. Your media desensitized you to the suffering of your fellow human beings and the system slowly isolated you until it somehow felt normal to feel alone on a planet with 8 billion other people on it.
You worked hard for the future with your reward always just around the next corner or just up the next step. Everything was tomorrow but tomorrow never came.

And you realized too late that you had never lived at all. Something was missing and no matter how much you worked, partied or paid you could not disguise it. You accepted it as natural for one to be wealthy whilst another is poor, or the absurd notion that we must pay back the debt of our own existence.

We traded community culture for corporate comfort and our most precious resource, our time, as a commodity.
We need to move beyond revolution and into the next stage of human evolution. A time marked by unparalleled compassion and peaceful co-existence. The shape of which we can not foresee as it must be created together.

We will take no power back as we shall empower ourselves and we shall say: We are the humans. We are awake now. We reclaim our destiny.

bs mero kadmo ka sathi hota
sapno ko jeena to seekha  maine
per kahi savera to ho jata

tha khaali jb mann bhi mera
khali he thi her ek manzil
ek gali thi,ek saher tha
kisse apni baaten khta
sapno ko jeena to seekha maine
per kahi savera to ho jata

hu awaraa main to kya hain
vo sapne bhe ab awaraa hain
jis mahefil -e-tenhai me baithu
her koi hasne lg jata
sapno ko jeena to sikha maine
per kahi savera to ho jata

bachpan me sb bola karte

tere daaman me main bs jata
vo sapna ho jata pura

sapno ko jeena to seekha maine
per kahi savera to ho jata

Love vs Ego

Sometimes love is for a moment, sometimes love is for a lifetime.
Sometimes a moment is a lifetime.
” Once upon a time there was an island...

Where all the feelings lived together.
One day there was a storm in the sea and
the island was about to get drowned.
Every feeling was scared but Love made a boat to escape.
Every feeling boarded the boat .
Only 1 feeling was left.
Love got down to see who it was…
It was EGO...
Love tried and tried but ego wasn’t moving also the water was rising...
Every one asked love to leave him and come in the boat, but love was made to LOVE...
At last all the feelings escape and Love dies with ego on the island...
Love Dies because of EGO...

Love Mystery -Taint by kzen

I found a paradise in her eyes
Two hearts
One diamond
We made love for the first time

Something true in the sky
Two new birds
One sun
We cried for the last time

Just hold on tight
The mighty clock
As it struck one
We were one
Still asking why

What happened then
Here we go again
No more disguise
For the first time

We landed safely
With something left
To amaze thee

Simple words
We were love
What happened then
Just don't ask why
Why, why, why

Still confused
As she said goodbye
Once again
Here I go
Still learning to cry.

Feeling Down & Blue

i swallowed my pride
and came to you
my broken heart - in hand
to let you know
what i was goin' thro'
so you would understand
how much Love
was in my heart
and the reasons i was blue
lately we've been
growin' apart
and i was missin' you

i pleaded with you
to think about
all that we have been
if you wanted us to make it
or if we were at the end
you said nothing
it seems you left
the matter up to me
that was my answer
so i'll just
let it be

it took me back a bit
it really had me
goin' out my mind
when i needed you
you became
so hard to find
what kind of Love
could be inside
that secret heart in you
what kind of Love
could leave me
feelin' down and blue

i tried to tell you
hopin' you would ease my pain
i tried to tell you
tryin' not to go insane
to make matters bad
you heard what i said
i guess you told me silent-ly
before i tried to tell you

Rainbow flash:)

once i looked at rainbow,
it was raining so hard, i can hardly hear myself think,
it was a lonely day, that one morning,
i would fall asleep, skies so clear,
i wake up in the middle of the night,
find myself smoking cigar, outside i go,
lord that rain drop i felt, hit my right arm
once i looked at rainbow,
it was raining so hard, i can hardly hear myself think,
it was a lonely day , that morning,

it was raining so hard, streets of rivers,
just tiring to find my way,
once i looked at rainbow,
differently that rainbow looked today
